I've seen a lot of this deck in Vintage Leagues lately - four times in my last three leagues.
Some things others are doing:
- More Bazaars, fewer one-of creatures. Going all-in on Rootwalla/Vengevine
- Not splashing blue, adding things like crop rotation instead
- Playing mental misstep main to get away from some hate
Not sure if any of those are correct, but thought it might expand the discussion.
@oestrus It goes up over time - since it reset at the last downtime, we'll see >100 numbers for a bit, then it will grow as people become stagnant until the league is reset again in June.
The overall time it takes to get an opponent is pretty consistent with what I'm used to.
Any thoughts as to why Big Blue struggles against Oath, while Gush crushes it?
I tend to play either or, and the data listed here matches up with my general feeling about the matchup. I feel way behind when playing Paradoxical Mentor, and way ahead when playing Gush Mentor - but can't put my finger on the reason why.
As always, thanks for putting this together!
