    • RE: Paradoxical Outcome - Deckbuilding Primer

      nice primer...

in my paradoxical shell I'm using a list with green, 2 managorger hydra instead of thinker for C. and it's quite good, you don't fear REB or dack and hydra grows really fast, try it..

    • RE: Should I get my Moxes signed?

...personally I hate signed and pimped cards, all my old cards (alpha and beta) are not signed nor pimped...
I like them as they are and usually I consider their value decreased if they are signed...
on the other and there are many players who like signed or pimped cards...
      so... it's up to you...
but I would not have them signed...

    • RE: How Do You Store Your Power?

I keep one power in my deck with only 1 sleeve (superblack) and the other in 16-slot pages ultra pro binder with side opening in the sleeves.
deck and binder are in my gun locker in a dry room with controlled temperature.
no more than one sleeve otherwise you risk moulds and other shit if you don't use them frequently or you store them in a hot and mild place.
      no sun.
if u use 3 sleeves and don't play them frequently and eventually store the deck in a mild and hot room u risk humidity problems, mould and similar shit... I don't see the point in 3 sleeves, cards get no air and thats not good...
even perfect size + superblack is more than needed and worth only if u play cards often...

      i hate proxy,
I would prefer that WOTC print old cards and abolish the reserved list...
this is the only way to save paper vintage...

    • RE: MTGO Leagues and MTGO Challenges are not enough to keep Vintage alive

Playing on MTGO is terrible, I bought all the vintage cards and tried but it is boring. MTGArena is way better but historic format is not vintage even with archive cards.
Maybe if arena comes to have vintage on it could be better... but it seems very far from that right now.
On the other hand real cards are very expensive and even if I have them, I find very difficult to find time and people to play with...
      that's it..
so if arena don't get better and we can try to have more spare time, we will still need low prices for cards in order to have people playing vintage... Wizard should reprint old cards, maybe in different graphic but with same power, otherwise paper vintage will die...alas..

@stormanimagus what if you have only one opponent? do you have to bury Maddenig Hex because you don't have any other target or it stays on the only one opponent you have for ever?

    • RE: Initiative to help save Paper Vintage

@moorebrother1 I don't agree, if they print enough cards speculation will drop.. and we will able again to play paper vintage...
look at PS5, if every shop had a lot of them no one would have bought it at an higher price...
but there are very few PS5 available and people are paying it more from grey market to have them...

    • RE: Paradoxical Outcome - Deckbuilding Primer

I cut white, I play only 2 hydra and 1 abrupt In my main because my first strategy is win via tendrils, hydra is my second plan but usually you can cast it whenever it's possible, if it hit the board it will win alone in 2-3 turns depending on your opponent deck or your cantrips..
the rest of the green cards are in the sideboard, 2 nature's claim, 1 trygon, 1 abrupt and other utilities...

we are also thinking on a version with green sun zenith, runemap excavator and fastbond... but we don't have much time to test...
