@benjamin_berry that is actually a great idea, you could even go so far as to rent out staples of the format and maybe even whole decks if you wanted to.

I'll tell you what I'll comp your entry fee if the morning of the tournament you come listen to my presentation on investing in card time shares. /s

You can remove sharpie with rubbing alchohol. If you’re gently enough it won’t remove ink. Easy to find volenteers to test on.

    • RE: [COM2016] Vial Smasher the Fierce

I'm thinking Tasigur, Gurmag Angler, Murderous Cut, Snuff Out, Pulverize, Fireblast, Blazing Shoal.

He doesn't play well with Bob though.

Maybe since they've done full art lands so many times now they'll do full border lands

    • RE: Handshakegate

If you can’t loose at a game without being rude you need to re-evaluate why you’re playing the game.

On the other hand a handshake isn’t the only way to congratulate your opponent. Any honest attempt will do.

    • RE: Datamining MTGO is about to get a bunch harder.

If they made it public after a delay, say a month, I think it would be a better compromise.

    • RE: Vintage Buyouts

So you need to be rich or have the right friends to play? Still a very exclusionary environment.
There is a new business opportunity here though. Renting power for a tournament.

Does this go well in the gw humans deck to rebuy pridemage or Thalia?

At 4 non workshop mana this is a turn 3 play. That means, if your going the sphere route, if you can cast this your opponent can cast stuff too. Thorn decks don't whin against 3 open mana.

    • RE: Ethical Dilemma: Scooping on MTGO

If you can't top 8, and you don't want to play why didn't you drop. This isn't an FNM.

I think this may be really good against grindy control decks. Same role as Sylvan Library against the Miracles type decks of the world. The scry gets around leovold unlike Sylvan Library, Jace and Dack. The 0 puts threats into play past Counterbalance or Standstill. The X in the cost lets you cast it into a Counterbalance.

The only deck I could see this in is high tide. But that’s legacy.

I’d also like to point out it hits factory, mutavault and nexi.
