Good stuff as always. Have to agree on Ballista being insane - the cases where Trike is better are really specific corner cases, and the cases where Ballista is better happen all the time (you have any amount of mana other than 6-7, you have multiple turns of spare mana, you're facing Dack, you're facing Dredge, you're facing Oath, etc)

Edited to add: One rules issue with Fatal Push, I believe you can always Push a Hangarback or Ballista, not just if they were cast for low X initially

Crackdown Construct can go infinite with Chimeric Idol on turn 1 or 2. All with a workshop and mox. Just wanted to point that out to the naysayers.

Of course you could, the best example of this is always being able to abrupt decay

Still listening; I think you set up Spire of Industry very well, and then blew the analysis.

This is, as Steve said, a three to four color pain land, so do colored Eldrazi want to be able to expand from two colors to more? With this, thorns, moxen, tarnished citedel, it might be possible. Mud doesn't care about making colorless mana, but Eldrazi lists might.

Nice podcast as usual. I think you guys missed the synergy between scrap trawler and ballista having CMC 0 when discussing if scrap trawler will see play. I don't think scrap trawler will see a ton of play, but Nick DiJohn already played one in a deck a week or so ago. Also although I unfortunately think ballista puts grixis pyromancer in a very difficult position, fatal push not costing life for that deck is key when you want to flash back your removal.

Do you plan to have a non set review/preview card podcast in the near future? It feels like it has been a while.
