[MID]Malevolent Hermit

I was not going to post this but after listening to the Eternal Durdles podcast I this this card needs some evaluation.I think this might fit into Breach or StoneBlade. Neither are teir 1 right now but I like what the card does.

I wish it didn't require mana to activate as that would allow you to curve out more effectively (saccing this on any noncreature spell for 2 mana, then recasting the 3-mana half, planning to win with Tinker or whatever the next turn), while also making it 2-drop disruption instead of 3-drop disruption.
As it is, I don't see it as unplayable (particularly seems interesting if you can get value by milling into it, like with DRC), but I think the impact isn't there. I kind of lump it together with Lavinia in terms of disruption/protection, but see Lavinia as more powerful given how it can win some games by itself.

I think we have a potential side board card here, for blue mirror and the such, if we see a return of the older delver pyromancer style blue control it could compete with pyro for board spots. As is another one for the save for some future metagame pile.

The Benevolent Geist side seems very nasty indeed. Play ancestral through chalice on one. All your counterspells get the last word etc. Dodge some of Lavinia's text.3 cc for a 2/2 flier is not very exciting but I could see this little guy being pretty annoying to play against.

The back side is clearly vastly better than the front.
