[MH2] Endurance
-
Seems real good, also much more hardcastable than the others so far. You can also stack the triggers to have Endurance die first to break bridges before putting the rest back against dredge.
I'm not sure if it is better than Faerie Macabre in non dredge matchups, but against dredge I think it wins out as a turn 0 option.

this triggers vengevine
hell, you can even target yourself, trigger vengevine, then use the etb to semi-counter surgical extraction on one of your other cards. -
Could this be used in the RUG Elementals deck? One of the noted weaknesses of the deck in the thread was a poor dredge matchup.
-
@dshin You should get it a try and find out.

In so much that the elementals list was ever a deck I cannot see why not. This and Grief both play really well with risen reef in mitigating the pitch cost, and a 3/4 flash creature on it's own is decent for playing on the stack EOT, which is not something that Elementals have typically been known for. It stops snapcaster, it stops dredge and bridges since you can order the sac trigger to happen even before the shuffle, and if you get in front of it stops delve.

Is this card an answer to Doomsday into Thassa's Oracle for free?
-
@stormanimagus it's going to depend on the pile; piles with 2 oracles probably beat, though it might take them an extra turn.
archive trap in response to them drawing into the pile already beats doomsday, if you want something for specifically doomsday. -
There is also trickbind and brain freeze that are highly effective v doomsday and are more resilient vs counterspells which doomsday runs a pretty good number of.
