it's a human. not an actual hate-bear, but card advantage is card advantage.

A grave is the safest place to store ill-gotten treasures.

NYSE 3 winner, vintage champs 2015 top 4, vintage champs mox emerald 2021 top 4.

      Unban Shahrazad.

@blindtherapy Jesus christ this is actually a bit much for 1 mana. I realize it dies to a sneeze but it's a 1 mana rhystic study. This seems like a plant for EDH but that seems shockingly strong.

Has some synergy with Luminarch Aspirant.

@protoaddict It says "cast their first noncreature spell each turn". So as I read it, it will only be a one card maximum per turn. Rhystic Study can give for each spell that turn.
I'm not sure it is worth it in a humans/hate-bear build, espedcially with the 1 power clock.

@uvatha if EDH is the discussion it may very well draw more than one card per turn, if you play this and on player B's turn they play a spell that player C counters, you can draw 2 cards on player B's turn.

@blindtherapy Sure - I just didn't get the general EDH vibe from his comment. I could be mistaken, but I understood the EDH comments as only to why WTC had included it in the set.
In my mind it is too weak for Vintage. Regarding strength in EDH, I'll take your guys word for it.
