There was once a time when a card like this would have been one of the first reviewed for Vintage. The card is Harness Infinity and it has a lot of predecessors that have been competitive and even dominate in Vintage. (Mainly Yawgmoths Will and Recall)

      Mana cost: 1BBBGGG
      Insant
Effect of card: Exchange your hand and graveyard.
      Exile Harness Infinity.

What I find appealing about this card besides having an insane powerful effect in the context of combo is that it is in G/B (Golgari). Golgari has a growing arsenal for combo in Vintage. Force of Vigor, Abrupt Decay, City of Solitude, Manamorphose, Land Grant, and Elvish Spirit Guide are amongst the green cards that are beginning to contribute to this idea. I believe there has been a green card printed in the last few years that has a similar effect - for the point of comparison if someone can recall the name of that card, I’d love to take a look at it.

Maybe this card allows are resurgence of cadaverous bloom and squandered resources?

I don’t have a definitive decklist that could display how this card would be used, but the potential and intrigue is definitely there. Maybe the first hurdle is to figure out how to generate GGG reliably.

      And of course fastbond!

My current theorycrafting is fastbond. Just putting this out there for anyone who is looking for a starting point.

Maybe something of a Combo Oath Shell with Scholar of the Lost Trove and a Tendrils kill. I think 1 Sphinx and 1 Griselbrand as targets.

Could also lean a little on fast mana and rituals to fuel your disruption (Thoughseize and maybe even Hymn powered out by Dark Rit.) as getting hellbent is not the worst when you are exchanging your graveyard for your hand.

I also imagine that Entomb as a tutor would be valuable as you can cast it on upkeep to make sure you have a critical combo piece and effectively choose which Oath target you want to hit by responding to your own Oath trigger .

An important question is if you will be able to effectively play Tinker-Citadel with 2 extra 7 mana spells in your deck.

My guess is that it would be hard to play more than the restricted blue package (no fow/preordains) to have enough room for rituals and other combo pieces.

I think about a list when I have a spare moment.

@nofuture Somewhere on here is a scholar of the lost trove oath thread with omniscience a few of those would give you a real good target if you milled only a few cards before hitting scholar and make playing show and tell give you access to the whole had you just reloaded with for 0 mana.

Scholar doesn't really work with Omni, it only casts instant/sorcery/artifact and is a pretty inferior Show and Tell/thing to cast with Omni already in play.

Praetor's Council regrowths your whole graveyard and gives you no maximum hand size for the rest of the game for 5GGG. doesn't cost you your current hand in the process, and lets you keep everything you get if you somehow have to pass the turn

A grave is the safest place to store ill-gotten treasures.
