This is has been the defacto EU tournament with both Eternal formats for some time, with players coming even from overseas.

Same formula we had last year, TWO Vintage: main one on Saturday and premium one on Friday. Latter is sort of a premium "High Stakes, High Rewards" event for the dieahard players, with higher registration fee.
Feel free to ask for any logistic help, especially if you plan to go to Florence before or after, friends from overseas have been visiting me for the past years, so you're definitely in for some tough competition.

Not yet, sadly. OTOH 4 Seasons has been allowing them for the past 3 editions.

Schedule's out for Vintage: premium on Friday, main event and rebound on Saturday, sadly again no proxies allowed.

Wanted to let people know that we're going to be doing live coverage of the Vintage event here, and I flew all the way to Italy to do it!

It's a full weekend, multi-format EW style event. The exact streaming schedule isn't completely fixed, but the current plan is the following:
tomorrow, Friday the 6th, 11am CET (5am ET) we'll be streaming Pioneer, Alpha 40, and Vintage All Stars.
Saturday the 7th, 11am CET, we'll be streaming matches from the main Vintage and Modern events (Vintage starts at noon)
Sunday the 8th, 11am CET, we'll stream the the Legacy main event.
The original plan was to stream more Modern than Vintage, but we talked the TO into upping the Vintage content if we promoted the event, so let's try and get some eyes on this and show them some Vintage love!

Vintage All Stars on Friday is sort of a High Rollers event with 100 euros entry fee and bigger prizes as opposed to the regular main event on Saturday. I convinced the TO to stream mostly Vintage in those two days and then Legacy on Sunday since I got Brassman to fly all the way to commentate what is th edefact ETERNAL tournament in EU.
TO also finally agreed to allow 15 proxies for Vintage, sadly it might be quite late to significantly boost attendance, but I hope it's a good start for the future.
Man versus nature is not a fair fight.

This is huge for me! Sadly this news came way to late to consider attending, but this might very well my first big Vintage tournament next year

Unfortunately i could not come this year but i definitively plan to make it next year if possible.
I am lucky enough to own what i need to play but i still think that allowing proxie is a great thing that should have been done years ago in Europe.

this was a good event, well run, good people, glad to have artists at an event of this size, next time I won't get 9th on breakers.
