Wow. I'm so glad I got to be a part of the growth of this deck. Congrats to the maker, your baby is running before crawling.

Man I'd love to see that winning list - looks like pure fire.

Additionally, the opponent was such a great sport - props to that fellah.

As someone who was very sceptical of the survival deck for a long time and credited a lot of its success to it mostly just being unexpected I have to say i was probably wrong on that one.
Glad to see another successful viable strategy.

Could some please explain why Sekimoto scooped game 1? I didn't see any POs or Mentors in his grave, and he had the vault lock.

@babau yeah. I’m kinda mad I never tried it in the 60. I’ve had 3 in the board basically since I added Savannah, but never thought to start them.

                            @covetousrat

                            1x Survival
2x PO (1x Jeskai, 1x Straight UB with 4(!) Trinket mage)
                            1x Inferno Oath
                            4x Jeskai

is what I got from reading the lists quickly.

@covetousrat, I’m really surprised WoTC dont specify English as their primary platform to advertise their Eternal WE to wider community. Japanese coverage, decklists and live commentary...

Am I correct in calling this the most expensive competitive deck in Magic?

Yeah. There is no announcement anywhere. Saw there's a Legacy stream on twitch MTG the other day and was lucky to find out about that event.

@p3temangus in paper, I believe so! Online it is nearly budget though, kinda funny tbh.
Mtggoldfish paper price from card kingdom: $33,084.87
Online price: 408.76 tix. (My version is cheaper at around 250 tix)

                                    Compare to average Shops deck:
                                    $27,939/371 tix

                                    Outcome:
                                    $31,566/552.63 tix

Wow, MTGO looks insanely cheap (relatively speaking). Does a Tix roughly translate into a dollar?

@wfain I think some older versions of Dragon might price out higher today, but yes, Survival is the opposite of Budget!

                                        https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/394856#paper--shows 36k as a price!

I think uba-stax was more expensive. Pack, bazaar and workshop.

Not most competitive at the moment, but...
