I'm working on typing out the top 32, but here are the top 16 so far:

Thank you for typing these up. I know it's a lot of work.

didn't Alfonso play mentor maindeck??

@caron Oops, yup you're correct. I just fixed that.

I'm not entirely sure who to ask but does anyone know if we also get Legacy decklists somewhere (outside the top 8 which was already very difficult to find?)

@jcardshark Good catch. I forgot to remove the 4 wastelands from the template. Just fixed it.

I've got 17-32 typed out, but just need to put the lists into the same forum template. They'll be up shortly.

Tragic Lesson? Boy is that a bad Gush impersonator. Don’t think that card was ever discussed anywhere, and here it is in the winning deck list!

Thanks for posting! Interesting how much Xerox there was, and that Shops didn't break into Top 8.

I love that Darkblast, and Life from the Loam in that Dredge list.

@fsecco Touche. Guess my memory of that discussion is a little hazy haha.

@oestrus Two incredibly powerful, underrated cards in dredge.

In his report, Andrea Mengucci said he encountered tons of Hurkyl's, Fiery Confluence, etc, and that people were just prepared to beat Shops. Assuming he's right, the approach paid off, as we had an entirely non-Shops top 8. Was this a fluke, or can we expect people to take this approach and succeed at the upcoming NA Vintage events?

(Apologies if this is the wrong thread to discuss this in.)

At least we learned this about Vintage: " It isn’t particularly healthy or skill-intensive" 🙂
Edit : replied to vaunghbros msg instead of Stuarts

@Stuart He was true when saying that people were ready for the shop matchup. Some people were even paranoid about it : i met a BUG deck that was running (post side) : 4 trygon predator, 4 nature's claim and 3 energy flux. Obviously i lost ...
Shop is sort of similar to dredge : when you take it seriously, you win against it.

@stuart

I played vs. 4 shops decks and beated them all (including Andrea which board I Pulverized FTW with 1-1).

This had dever happened in my life before.

I was looking forward to MUD matches all day long 🙂

Also, Adrià Romero (playing my LCV slightly tweaked version of Diophan P9Challenge list ) beated 2 shops in the Swiss.

@Log

I have been trying to answer your chat but strangely I cannot.
Can you send me an email so I can reply you back? My mail is in my profile.

@oestrus

I had a lot of discussions with my friends regarding these two cards.

All of them agreed that darkblast is bad, and I should play a golgari thug instead. But I like having a card preboard against Jailer, though It is not the most played card now.

Loam is played as Cage or priest 'antihate'. With only those cards, my idea was return lands and play trolls.

Actually, both cards seré irrelevant, as many of the cards, because my opponent or I died before.

To complete this information, my pairings were 1 mirror, 1 blue with vault/key, 3 MUD (2 win 1 Lost), 1 oath. I don't remember the other one.

I lost against fantasy paradoxical un top8, maybe my worst pairing un whole top.
