Knight Ware's May Unsanctioned Vintage Playtest Tournament
is on Sunday the 21st, 2017 at 2PM PDT

This is along side of our Amonkhet Game Day if anyone actually show up for it.

This will be one of our Store Credit Vintage events.
Start time will be 2:00 PM and REL will be Regular

Knight Ware has a few decks (with 10/15 playtest cards)
available to borrow if any one needs.

With the new restrictions, Decks need updating
If you need to borrow a deck, send a list.
If you just need to borrow a few cards, ask I might have them available

Cash Entry fee
$15 and you get up to 10 playtest cards
$20 and you get 15 playtest cards
there has been a request to allow for more playtest cards at $1 each after 15 so we are going to try it.
ALL entry fees go into the prize pool
(credit cards still fine for other purchases)

Playtest cards
(Up to 15 cards (more if you really want to pay extra) in your deck can be substituted with other "clearly
identified" cards)
Removing text with acetone or an eraser and using an extra fine point sharpie pen
to cross out the irrelevant text and write the real text is the best approach.

4 crap replacement foils to the event for each card you want done
(many don't survive the process)

Pieces of paper, either glued or not glued
will not be permitted inside the sleeve.
Whiteout is not allowed.
Ball point should not be used as it dents the card

As expected, the one time I played against Eldrazi they caused some headaches. They also were the nail in the coffin vs. shops once I believe.

@Stormanimagus Interesting List! How was this tuned to your particular meta and/or how do you think depths is positioned right now (aside of course as Dredge Plan B)?

I don't tend to "tune for a meta" because I want to beat most decks people could throw at me, but I generally have an understanding of what players in my meta tend to like playing and planned accordingly. Pack Rat, for example, was a nod to some White Eldrazi that had been cropping up in my meta. There are also a couple diligent Dredge Pilots so I like bringing a list with access to Wastes, Priests and Needles. There tends to be pretty limited Shops so I wasn't super worried about Walking Ballista, but I do tend to see a lot of PO combo at my store so I wanted a deck that could support Null Rod/Stony Silence well.
