Oh shit, it's Marek!

OH SHIT, there are EVEN MORE PRIZES ON THE LINE FOR THIS?  Why, yes.  Stay tuned; there might be a small door prize contest for the first player to beat a member of each region's team in the Swiss.

Only the manliness presence of this tourney could fight off the waves of Limp-wristedness that will occur once everyone gets out their Fairies and Angels to be signed.

Hurry up and say if you're coming to this amazing event so I can fill out my bingo card. I guess you don't really need to bother if you're from New England or Pennsylvania, though, as your chances of making my card are kind of slim in that case anyway.

Ok, here's another competition.  The first player to beat a member of an "enemy team" in a match will win a small-grade, staple rare signed by each member of that team.

So for example, if I was on Team New England and someone from Pennsylvania beat me (because I mulled to 2 and then had to run out of the building to save a damsel-in-distress from a burning car in the parking lot or something; hey, I'm just trying to paint a realistic scenario for my example here), the winner of that match could get a Tezzeret signed by each member of Team New England, provided no one else from New York or Pennsylvania had beaten a member of Team New England yet.  Similarly, if someone from New England beat a member of Team New York, they could win a Sphere of Resistance signed by each member of Team New York, provided no one else from New England or Pennsylvania had beaten a member of Team New York.

NB:  You don't need to be on a representative team to win a prize in this contest.  All you need to do is be the first to get a match win against a member of an enemy region's team.

Will there be a space for video feature matches?  If not is that something we could organize?  I would be more than happy to provide a laptop/camera.

Please let me know.

That would be great if you could do that, actually. We were planning on doing feature matches, but hadn't gotten the question of video coverage sorted out. If you're able to help us out with that, it would be much appreciated.

I should know by the end of this weekend if there is a chance of me attending. I really do hope so, though I'm not sure how smart it will be to wear a Jason Bay jersey in Boston.

I wore my Rivera jersey, Yankees hat and 'Choke: the official drink of Boston baseball' shirt at GP Boston, which was down the block from Fenway Park.

Also, last I checked the Red Sox didn't care about what the Mets did.

Does anyone know how to set up the video feed for the feature match?  I will provide hardware if someone can handle the software.

I've got a laptop that we can set somebody up with, it should be able handle streaming I believe. I also have a camera and will probably try to provide some lights so we can have a table specifically set up for feature matches. The mall has decided to give me an entire abandoned store to run the event in so we should have the space for it.

Who gets the prize if multiple people beat members of opposing region's teams in the same round (say, round 1)?  Will multiple winners get the prize(s) or will this be who ever turns their results slip in first?

Wow.  That's awesome.  I was a little worried that it might be awful trying to fit everyone into X9, especially since they still haven't fixed the AC and it smells like ass.

Where in the mall is this?  Just curious.
